Our Story

Born and raised on Oahu’s windward side, I was always drawn to hidden trails and places where I could be alone in nature. During rainstorms, I would venture deep into the valleys, chasing waterfalls that only appeared with the heaviest rains. These are the experiences that shaped my connection to ‘aina (land).

Now, I’m dedicated to sharing this connection with adventurers seeking deeper, off-the-beaten-path experiences. TARO was born from the idea that immersion in nature can lead to a deeper understanding of ourselves.
